Fashion Trends That We Are Excited To Wear In 2023
I won’t lie, thinking about the fact that 2023 is so close does give me a fair amount of anxiety. How is time flying by so fast? The last three years have been a whirlwind, and with everything else, they also have brought us a lot of unexpected trends. For example, who would have thought that low-rise jeans would make a comeback? While I still haven’t accepted this trend, and I decided to stick to my high-waist mom jeans instead, a few trends are lurking in the background just waiting for 2023 to approach. And I couldn’t be more excited to try them out.
Always wanted to look like a living wrapped-up bonbon? Then 2023 might be your year. Why? Because ruffles are making a huge comeback! We are going to see them everywhere, from tops to dresses. It’s all about the volume and feminine look. However, if you don’t feel comfortable rocking super large ruffles, then try out dresses with smaller ones. When it comes to ruffles, you can go as big or small as you like.
Another feminine trend is coming back. Lace wasn’t seen on many runways in the last couple of years, however, it seems like next year it’s going to make a huge comeback. Lace detailing is a great option for your spring and summer looks, but it can also be combined during the colder months. This trend is especially appropriate for evening outfits or special events such as parties or weddings.
When it comes to colors, it seems as if purple will be all the rage in 2023. From dark purple to lavender, anything will go. This trend will be especially on trend during spring and summer, so make sure that you get your purple clothes ready for the warmer months!
The days of mini bags are over, and 2023 will be all about those oversized bags. Either designer or high street, make sure that you get yourself a larger bag ready for 2023. While these bags can get pretty heavy easily, it’s pretty refreshing considering that we finally can fit our phones and wallets in our trendy bags again. Because let’s face it, those mini bags didn’t fit anything inside of them!
Yup, it seems as if skinny jeans are still considered out of style, even in 2023. The baggy pant trend is joining us again for another year. Either cargo pants or oversized jeans, it’s just important that your pants are as loose as possible. Baggy pants pair nicely with a corset, which we are going to see more of in the next year as well.
