Quick and Pretty Makeup Looks To Wear This Spring
The weather is finally getting better, and most of us just want to go out and enjoy the first days of spring. Maybe even snap an Instagram-worthy picture in front of a blossoming tree? There is no time to waste, and all most of us want is a quick and pretty spring makeup look that we can do in 15 minutes or less. If you still need some ideas, here are the spring makeup looks we are going to wear on our faces in the following months.
Colorful eyeliner will be one of the biggest makeup trends for 2023. And what better time to wear it than during the spring? Of course, to get those true spring vibes, opt for pastel colors such as lavender, baby pink, and sky blue. A colorful winged eyeliner can upgrade any makeup look. Just pair it with a glossy nude lip, and minimal face makeup. If you want to enhance your eyes even further, also add a pair of wispy fake lashes.
Monochromatic looks are not only easy to wear, but also so budget-friendly! You can multitask your products. All you really need is a cream and powder blush. Use the powder blush as an eyeshadow replacement, and add a little dab of the cream blush to the center of your lips. If you want to add even more dimension to your look, you can also add lip liner in a similar color, and some liquid highlighter to make your skin glow to the gods.
One-color-shimmering eyelids are finally back! And isn’t that great news for all of us who never learned to do our eyeshadow? All you really need is a shimmering eyeshadow of your choice and your finger. To avoid fall-out, make sure that the formula of the eyeshadow is creamy. I love to do just a light swap across my whole eyelid, and add a little bit of extra eyeshadow to the inner corner of my eyes. This will make my eyes appear more awake and vibrant, and it also helps cover any dark circles from the night before. This eye look pairs well with most makeup looks, so you can wear it on your minimal-makeup days, or even on a night out combined with a bold lip and black winged liner.
Lip and cheek tints
Remember how everyone used lip and cheek tints in the late 2000s and early 2010s? Well, that trend is making a comeback. If you have been active on the beauty side of TikTok, you’ve probably noticed how everyone is, once again, using deep red tints on their lips and cheeks. They give you a natural flush, they feel almost weightless on the face, and they are also long-lasting. Just apply a light base, like a skin tint or a BB cream, and apply a few dots of the tint to your cheeks and lips. Blend it all out with your fingers, and you will instantly look fresher and plumper. You can also add a light layer of mascara and some clear brow gel.
