No Costume? Try These Simple Halloween Makeup Looks

Halloween is right around the corner, and I have to admit that I am not too crazy about dressing up. It’s just a lot of work, and I honestly don’t even think about it until it’s already too late and all of the good costumes are sold out. That’s why I mastered the art of simple Halloween makeup looks. They are the ideal choice for people who don’t want to go all out but still want to add a little bit of spookiness to their look.

Spiderwoman

Besides pumpkins, which are probably the most well-known symbol of Halloween, another thing we associate with this holiday is spiders and their webs. It alludes to fear, darkness, and something lurking at every step. If your choice for Halloween is not a full costume but just a simple makeup look that you can get away with, then this is the look for you. Use black eyeliner to draw a spider’s web under your eye. And if that isn’t spooky enough, add an extra dose of drama with the help of bright red or orange eye shadow. The perfect opportunity to finally use those vibrant shades in your eyeshadow palette that you don’t dip into for the rest of the year.

Orange is the new black

It’s certain that orange, due to its association with pumpkins, is the ideal choice for Halloween. Whether you wear it on your lips or eyelids. Black, as the color of darkness and fear, is also a good choice for this night. By combining these two, you will get a completely effortless but effective Halloween makeup look. The easiest way to do that is to do a bold orange eyeshadow look and top it all off with some black lipstick.

Emo Powerpuff Girl

The Powerpuff Girls was the show that all of us didn’t want to miss as children. And now, Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup can be the inspiration for our Halloween makeup look! But if you want those Halloween vibes, give it more of an emo look. This is the time of the year when we can wear green or blue lipstick, extremely long colored eyelashes, hot-neon screaming eyeshadow shades, and drawings on our cheeks. So why not make the most of it? And in addition to that, you can also have a nostalgic moment by recreating the look of your favorite cartoon character.

Red eye makeup

The color red symbolizes different concepts for all of us, be it love, passion, or power, but during Halloween, it symbolizes fire. Also, we associate the flame with combativeness, courage, and steadfastness, and it is certain that wherever we appear, each of us wants to leave the impression of a strong, self-confident, modern woman who bravely reaches for her goal and breaks down all obstacles in front of her, just like the flame.

Accordingly, you can spice up your ideal cat-eye look for Halloween with eyeliner or a red pencil and draw flames, for an even more effective impression and a bold statement. As we have already mentioned, everything is allowed on this night, and red lipstick, eyeliner, and eye shadow are not exactly an everyday makeup look, so dare to be brave and captivate with your appearance!
