All of us agree that eyebrows can make or break a look. For many of us, good eyebrows equals a good makeup day. Eyebrows frame your face and give it definition. After all, who doesn’t love a good brow? While many of us out there are gifted with naturally dark and thick eyebrows, not all of us are lucky enough in that department.

Here are some tips to give you oh so lovely brows that look perfect!

Banish Those Extras

Tweezing, threading, or waxing those wiggly extra brow hair leaves you with naturally on-fleek brows. Tweezing out the extra hair imparts the brows with a natural shape. As a result, you wouldn’t have to spend a lot of time working on outlining your brows before filling them in. 

Brush With a Spoolie

A spoolie is a small brush specially designed for your brows. Use it to brush your brows in an upward direction; away from the eyes. This helps in opening up your eyes and also makes your brows look neat and tidy.

Fill In

Filling in your eyebrows is a pretty crucial part of achieving good-looking brows.  There are a lot of things you’ll need to consider when it comes to eyebrow filling.

Foremost, choose the right color. Using a very dark color especially black may look unnatural and too heavy on the eyes. The best tip is to go for a color that is closest to your natural hair color or a few shades lighter. This blends in really well with your natural eyebrow without looking out of place.

The second is choosing the formula. There are a variety of products out there ranging from pomades, pencils, powders, and creams. Experiment and see which formula suits your look best, and then stick with it.

Don’t Overdo

Nothing is more disastrous than intimidating brows. It ruins your whole look and no one wants that. Try following your brows’ natural line and only fill in places that need extra attention, that too with a very light hand.

Make sure you don’t darken the beginning of your brows as that looks unnatural and obvious. Also, fill in the arch properly as that part of the brow is the darkest naturally.

Another thing to remember is that eyebrows should be sisters and not twins. Hence, if both your eyebrows are not identical, don’t fret, that’s how it’s supposed to be.

Seal It!

Using wax or hairspray on your brows after filling them will elongate their wear time. It is a great way to ensure that you don’t have any stray hair either. 

Apply Concealer on the Edges

Cleaning the edges with a bit of concealer gives the brows a defined edge and a sculpted look which all of us have come to love.

There are way too many brow trends out there, ranging from a bold and sculpted look to the recent feathered brow trend. We can all agree that brows are an essential part of our life, therefore it needs attention with not just makeup, but skincare as well.
